Bumbo...

We put Mason in his Bumbo the other day. He is not quite ready for it yet. We keep working on getting his head stronger so we can go swimming when we go home in a couple of weeks. He couldn't quite figure out what he was supposed to do in his bumbo.

3 months old...

Yesterday Mason was three months old. Amazing how time flies! He is such a happy baby as he wakes up smiling. He is trying to roll over. He just can't get his leg over, but with a little help he can do it. He is trying to use the arm of the chair to help him. Mason can entertain himself . He loves to lay on his back and just play.
He loves to look at his hands.
His thumbs are raw and red because he squeezes them so hard between his fingers.
Mason loves to put his hands in his mouth. He also slobbers all of the time now. I have to keep a burp cloth close by!
He can hold his head up pretty well, but....can't quite sit up.
He smiles all the time. So sweet!

Mother's Day Gift...

I am not big on holidays where you are expected to get something because you have to. I have never liked Valentine's Day because I feel like you should value your spouse through out the entire year, and not have to buy flowers on Febraury 14th. So when my first Mother's Day came around I sort of had the same feelings, so Craig and I decided that on Mother's Day and Father's Day we would have a family day or weekend and the person being honored gets to decided what we would do. What I wanted was pictures with my sweet boy, however, we haven't had a chance to take them. Yesterday, I finally got my pictures with my precious Mason that I will cherish forever. I have to say Craig is becoming a great photographer! This is how Mason gives his mommy a kiss!

Mason and Brody...

Mason finally got to meet Brody today. Brody's mom, Leann, and I taught at Hughes together. Brody is 2 weeks older than Mason. It was fun to see them together. They are both adorable. Here is a picture Stefanie took on her phone for us. They actually look like they could be related.

Blocks...

GiGi and I bought Mason some soft, squeaky blocks yesterday at Target. He obviously can't grab them yet, but he loves the colors and the noise. Plus, they make a great prop for cute pictures. Here are a couple of Mason having fun on the floor in one of my favorite outfits! Notice his thumb in between his index and middle finger. He does that all the time.

This is the look I get all the time now when I bring out my camera. He sees the big camera and looks like a deer in headlights! He laughs and plays but when he sees that camera he just stops!

What Happened to My Little Boy?

Everyone has told us from the beginning to enjoy every minute because they grow up so fast, and that is so true. I can't believe how big he is. I would love to see another baby his exact age because I think he is really big for his age. He looks like a little man. Here are a couple of recent pictures from the week. Look at our big boy holding his head up!

Here is Kelli and Mason. Kelli stops by every week to see Mason. She is so good with him. Thanks for loving our sweet boy Kelli!

Mason sitting with his GiGi.
One of his great expressions!
This is the face he makes when he is concentrating. So cute!

Daily Bath Time...

Taking a bath every night before bed is part of Mason's routine. I know I love being clean before I go to bed, so I assume he does to. He always makes the funniest faces when I am rinsing him off with the water. He really likes it even though his facial expressions don't quite show it. Notice I have to cover him up when I spray him. I guess he gets so relaxed he just wants to pee all over the place. Craig and I both have gotten a few showers of our own during bath time.
