Bam Bam...
I was telling a friend a school that Mason's favorite toy is his bat, and how he loves to bang the floor with it. She replied, " Like Bam Bam." What a perfect nickname. He loves to hold it with his feet or try to put it in his mouth. When he sees his bat, he drops his other toys and tries to get it. We might have a baseball player like his daddy!

Mason loves his GiGi..
Last Thursday, GiGi ( my mom) flew up for the weekend to take care of Mason so Craig and I could get away for the weekend. We went to Granbury which is only about 45 minutes from us. Our time was invaluable and such a blessing. It was nice to just take some time for us, relax, and take a little break from parenting duties. I think everyone should invest in their marriage and get away with their spouse (especially if you have kids!)
We had a wonderful time, and we so thankful my mom was willing to watch Mason for us. We were even more thankful when we came home and found out that she was up all night with a sick little boy. We took Mason to the doctor Sunday afternoon to find out that he had an upper respitory infection. Also, found out his two front bottom teeth broke through as well. Monday he had a rough day, so GiGi decided to stay and watch him for the next couple of days so he could get better. Mason loves his GiGi. He always wants to know where she is. We will all be sad when she has to go home, but are so thankful she was able to bless us tremendously!
The first couple of pictures are of Mason when he was not feeling well, but still wanted to try to play a little bit. I was trying to read the paper and he didn't want to be left out:-)
That's the best smile he could give me.

Almost...
Two nights ago I was getting Mason ready for his bath and he kept pulling up like he was going to crawl. I thought for sure he would crawl and I would be able to catch it on camera, however, I was wrong. He did give me quite a few adorable expressions though. This first picture is why I grabbed my camera in the first place. (And no, I didn't set it up!) On a side note, I can't believe our little baby is 7 months old today!

A&M and Cowboy Stadium...
Yesterday we got to go to the A&M and Arkansas game at Cowboy Stadium. The stadium is unbelievable, but I just wish it was a better game. We had a great time, and I am so glad we went. Since it was Game Day, Mason was dressed in one of his A&M outfits. This is one of my favorite pictures with his daddy!

Pajamas...
Fall is here! (Sort of) It does get a little colder at night, so Mason has gone to the long pajamas with little feet. He continues to try to get them and put them in his mouth. Here are a couple of us playing this morning. Yes, this morning....we have been up since 5:15am on a Saturday:-) But it's ok, I love playing with my sweet boy. At least we didn't have to go to school today!
