Perception...

Almost two weeks ago, I was in HEB on a Friday morning just to pick up batteries for Craig as I was taking Mason to eat lunch with his daddy. A lady stopped me and said, " You look so good, and you have it all together with three little kids. I can barely do anything with two." I think I might have laughed out loud and said, " No I absolutely don't have it all together. Actually my mom is on her way to help us for the weekend because it has been a challenging couple of weeks and mommy no longer has patience and needs a little break." It made me think how often we can judge or formulate a perception of someone based on what they look like and have no idea what is really going on.

I am not sure she believed me but it was true. Craig has probably had two days off in the last month and has just worked very long days. With no preschool which means no break it finally caught up to me. Praise God for GiGi who came and helped tremendously. She helped us so much and gave me just the break I needed. We are both so thankful for her as she served us and was so unselfish. And of coarse, the kids loved spending time with their GiGi. This is the girls at the WNBA game while Mason and Daddy went to see Turbo at the movies.

Always smiling...

The other day I went to take a picture I noticed I had a lot of pictures on my camera roll. I looked back and I think Micah had taken over 150 pictures of herself, the floor, her eye, and ceiling...
Lightsaber fights are a nightly occurrence at our house...Micah jumps in with her eyes closed swinging away.

Not a great picture, but a reminder of how much Micah loves her little sister. She gives her kisses all day and always asks,"Where Ray Ray?" For my non affectionate child that is saying a lot. I look forward to watching their relationship develop!
Came down stairs one day to see my kitchen table like this. I will miss one day!
Nobody can make her smile like her Mason can.
That would be Micah in Mason's tshirt:-)

Mason got a little out of hand with the paint...

Took me forever to get this out of her hair...
 The snake offers endless entertainment...
Went to get Reagan and this is what I found. Still not sure how Micah got in there.
I got ambitious one day after bible study and took all three kids to the movies at 12:20 by myself. They did great! I think the lady in front of us thought I was crazy from the look she gave me as we walked in.
This was too funny. My non napper Micah went to wake up Mason. Well, he was so tired he would not wake up. She was jumping on the bed, reading a story, and trying everything to wake him up.

I was feeding Reagan and thought Micah was eating an apple. Yeah right! I heard her singing, "Clean up, clean up, everybody do their share."

 Swimming with Whitten..

We are so far from potty training but Micah likes to sit on her potty when someone else is going to the bathroom. If you ask her if she wants to go, she says "NO!"
This happened! Mason beat Craig in Wii bowling. 4 strikes for a four year old is really good.
 Reagan watching mommy cook...

Last night we made cloud dough ( a mixture of flour and baby oil) and then some fluff stuff which was a mixture of shaving cream and corn starch. We enjoyed our fun mess!

Sweet Reagan loves to be outside...

Summer To Do...

This is guaranteed to be the longest post I have ever done! That is what happens when you have 3 little kids, Craig is working a lot, no preschool, 3 kids with different sleep schedules, and a month worth of pictures on your phone. Not much extra time in my day these days! But it is only a short lived season and we are making the best of it! Once preschool was out, we made a summer to do list and having fun trying to complete it!

We made chalk paint and a big mess, but they just loved it. We have actually done it a couple more times sense. Also, a great lesson on measuring and counting as well as mixing colors!

His love for water has not gone away!
What Reagan did while we made our paint...

Mason was teaching Reagan her letters followed by pat-a-cake:-)

We went to Morgan's Wonderland and had the best time!! It is such a great place to take kids this age. They even have a gym, and it was so so fun to shoot a basketball again. I had a blast and so did the kids! Looking forward to many more years of this!
 Look at this perfect form!!!

Pajamas and a back pack playing outside... you will see Micah's one of a kind pictures through out this post!
While Mason was with my parents, I took Reagan and Micah to the parade. Micah absolutely LOVED it!

Yes that is Micah walking down the street following a float...

Mason drove to the Valley with Uncle Jarrod and Samantha. He wore his bicycle helmet the whole way, and he did say Uncle Jarrod didn't speed!
 Mommy with her girls!
This is what we did while Mason was away...
 Micah loves her sister!
Swim floaty and necklace, and no we weren't going swimming...
 1st time in her Bumbo...

This was taken at 11:30 at night...my night owl who wasn't sleepy one bit.
 Love them...
 Mason's orange leaf concoction...
And Orange Leaf finally has some dairy free ice cream for Micah!
We bought Mason over 400 legos from someone on Craig's list for $30. He builds things daily. He is so creative!
We made finger paint with vanilla pudding.

Mason took a picture of Reagan and mommy...
This is a monumental photo as I never thought my Micah would want to be thrown off the diving board. She asked to do it over and over...
 Love this one...
We had the privilege of hosting a birthday party with our Sunday School class for two girls who live in a foster home in Boerne. Some of them have never had a birthday party. We loved being able to serve with our kids and show them how privileged they are!
Can't have a birthday party without cake and ice cream...

 One of Mason's creations...
 Paint all over him!

Reagan pool side on the 4th at the JW Marriot as we went to visit Craig's dad who was staying there. Very fun place!

This really happened...the snowcone truck drove down our street. Snowcones were on our to do list and I have always wanted ice cream from an ice cream truck.
They let you pick your own flavor...

This is what our driveway looks like!
Mason reading stories to his sisters on morning...
I asked Mason to bring Reagan A toy... this is what I came back to. My 1st born overachiever couldn't just get one!

Doctor's office and it wasn't even for her. Reagan has her 2nd ear infection. I think Micah is traumatized for life.
 Making flubber... orange of coarse!

Snowcones after bible study one night...

The most fun and creative birthday party we have ever been to! Mason rode this slide over and over again! Over 18 tons of ice...

 Look at this smile...

This day Micah was watching Chipmunks and a song came on. She came to the kitchen as I was cooking dinner, grabbed my hand, and said, "Let's dance!" I stopped what I was doing, and we danced!
 Precious smile...
Daddy reading a bed time story...
 Love this one...
Craig and I went out on Saturday. After dinner, we called Mason and told him to get ready that we were taking him somewhere very fun. He said, "Ms.Katelyn my mom and dad are taking me somewhere really fun, I think they are taking me to the library!" Ha! It was to Bass Pro Shop and to watch the Fiesta Texas fireworks, not the library. To his credit, Boerne has a great library that they both really enjoy.

Doctor's office again for Reagan's 4 month shots...
 1st time in the jumperoo...
This is what happens when you leave cheese on the table for someone who can't have it. I ran upstairs to switch the laundry and this is what I came back to. Mason said it was called Cheesetown.
This is what we have left on our list.
And if you made it this far, I will end with a funny story. Yesterday I said, "Micah did you poop?"...."No" she said adamantly....."Micah are you lying to me?"..... Micah said, " Lion....Roooaaarrr!"
