Gingerbread House...

One of my favorite traditions that we have started as a family is decorating a gingerbread house. I don't know who had more fun... Mason or Daddy or Mommy watching Mason and Daddy. We had some fun family time decorating and listening the the Oakridge Boys Christmas CD. Fun to think Micah will be in the mix next year eating all the frosting like her brother!

Look at this smile... one excited little boy!
Our gingerbread kit... next year we might make it ourselves. We will see!

Mason definitely had to eat a handful of candy or icing before he put any on.

A mental picture I will never forget... Mason and Daddy where just singing away to the Oakridge Boys Christmas CD while Mason was also dancing.

Not the best looking gingerbread house in the world, but we sure did have fun!
I am really surprised he didn't throw up that night with all the icing and candy he ate, we couldn't keep his fingers out of it.

Santa...

Santa was an entirely different experience this year. Last year, Mason was screaming and this year he couldn't wait. When we were standing in line, he looked at Micah, grabbed her hand, and said, "Micah are you excited!!!" He couldn't wait! Micah did great, but as you can see she always had a hand on Mason. So cute!

Micah not sure who this guy was that was holding her.

This is Mason telling Santa what he wants for Christmas.
Ok... give me that hand back.
Bass Pro Shop does it right. Free picture with Santa, Merry Go Round, and all kinds of fun stuff for kids. It definitely gets people in the door!

December...

December is one of my favorite times of year! While we have had to miss some fun stuff, we have been able to do quite a bit. Here is a little bit of everything!

We had a craft day for MOPS, and it was my little boys heaven! By the end he was covered in paint and still wanting to paint some more. We had so much fun. I didn't get to take any pictures because I was holding Micah most of the time, but we did capture a couple here.

We also made another quick to Austin. We got to see a lot of our favorite people. Here is Mason, Araceli, and Owen, who are all 2nd cousins. Love this picture!
Micah loves to give kisses. One morning she kept taking Mason's blanket, and he would get close to take it away, then she would give him kisses.

Modeling... I am sure she will put a blanket in her mouth as she watches her brother do it.

Baby Dedication...

On November 13th, we had Micah's baby dedication at church, and since then we have had sick little ones.
Mason didn't feel well at all that morning, so we kept him in big church... not ideal for a 2 1/2 year old!

However, it was a special day for us as a family as we committed to raising our sweet Micah in the church. She looked so pretty in her cute dress GiGi bought her. We were so thankful GiGi was able to make it for her dedication. She was only here one night, and caught the awful cold we all had... not so fun for her. She did get an adorable picture of her grandkids out of the trip!

Our sweet friends the Harpers' as Whitten was dedicated as well.
