Mommy pictures...

GiGi keeps asking for new photos so here you go. We have been busy around the Bellamy house, and all fun stuff. Not leaving much time for blogging. Swimming a lot, people over for dinner, pool party, bible study, took kids to the WNBA game (which Micah loved!!), ice cream, pajama days... you know... no schedule... summer fun! And all kinds of projects around the house. I am about to have two weddings in two weeks, so I feel like I have to get all those great ideas in my head done because I will be editing with all of my spare time!

These are a couple we took last weekend. Mommy is rarely in pictures with the kids, but this one was just the kids and I.

My favorite...in this picture I think we might resemble one another...

 Love her kisses....
Great expression...she just giggles when I pick her up like this...
Mason wanted me to pick him up like I did Micah...almost 40 pounds is a little harder than 24...

 Love, love, love this smile!

Tackled by my Mason, and Micah about to join in the action...
 This happens a lot!
Tickle Monster is a favorite game at our house. They both love it, and Mason has to say, " I love my mommy" to make the tickle monster stop:-)
When I look at this picture... I believe it descibes a typical day at the Bellamy house!

Grass...

We have some grass...and it was worth every penny! I absolutely LOVE watching Mason and Micah running through the yard, chasing one another, barefoot! Our entire yard is shaded, so the bermuda that was installed when the house was built would not grow at all. We chose to put in zyosia grass and so glad we did! I did a couple of pictures of our barefoot sweet ones have fun in the yard.

Summer is here, and we are excited for things to slow down a little bit. Preschool is out for Mason, I have finished some recent photo shoots I got behind with when Micah was in the hospital, and we have enjoyed having Grammie here the last couple of days. I am looking forward to  painting our bedroom ( the only bedroom not painted...not sure why I haven't done it!) and take some fun pictures of the kids.

Daddy thinks she needs a haircut...he may be right...little girl has some crazy hair in this picture.

Micah is all over the place these days...she almost breaks out in a run... no slowing her down! One of her favorite things is to place tickle monster with Mason and Daddy. Daddy is the tickle monster and chases Mason around the house....she chases them while laughing thinking they are chasing her.

Normal...

Things are starting to get back to normal around here. Micah is finally off her medicines, and we just have to change her dressing one time a day. Crazy to see her walking around everywhere.

Mason is in his 2nd week of swim lessons, which has been more difficult than I expected...meaning he isn't a very good listener and likes to do his own thing. Not sure if we will be swimming without a life jacket by the end of the two weeks.

On Friday, we went to one of our favorite places... the river. The kids always have so much fun. These are a couple pictures of our outing...the lighting wasn't great so I didn't take many.

 Micah and McCoy

Tonight when I was tucking Mason into bed, and he said, "Mom ( I am no longer mommy which makes me sad) if you go to HEB can you get me popsicles, yogurt, grapes, and hotdogs. I don't have any hotdogs." I got a shopping list from my 3 year old!

Walking, walking, walking...

We officially have a walker. Before everything that happened last week, she was so scared to walk. She would walk holding on to things, would stand by herself, but would always sit down rather than take a step by herself. I guess after a hospital stay, surgery, and still having an open wound...walking is a piece of cake. She has taken off and doesn't ever want to sit down. So at 13 1/2 months Micah is walking and just growing up way too fast!

When Craig came home yesterday, she heard the door open and she just took off. She usually just crawls as fast as she can, but today she walked. Craig said it was something he will never forget, and such a sweet sight.

Notice there are no pictures on the bottom, she enjoys pulling them all off.
Pointing to her daddy and saying, "Da Da Da Da Da..."

I think now that Micah is walking, Mason thinks he can play with her. Today I was doing the dishes, and it warmed my heart to hear him playing with her in the other room.... I was just waiting for her to start crying, but it never came. He did really good with her today:-)

The Sprinkler Guys...

In the midst of our craziness, we were in the process of transforming our yard and getting new grass. We had someone come out to adjust our sprinklers, till our yard and add some compost. It was a couple day process to get our yard ready for the grass, and Ruben and Brian were the highlight of Mason's day. He just loved them, and they were so good to him. They would let him "help" and show him how to do things. Mason carried a tape measure and little shovel where ever he went.

One day we were gone for the morning, and he told me to hurry and get home before Ruben and Brian left. They did such a great job! If anyone in the San Antonio/Boerne needs a "sprinkler guy" let me know... I highly recommend them!

Our grass came the day after we got home from the hospital. I was so glad Craig was home to take care of all that... and it looks so good! Watching Mason run through the grass bare foot was so worth it. I will post pictures soon!...Here is our handy helper!

A Mason story that has nothing to do with the sprinkler guy, but one we don't want to forget!... The other night Mason and Craig were playing play do, and Mason wanted to spell out his name. He went through all of our names, and decided that his last name was "Bellamoke" not "Bellamy". Mason and daddy had some fun conversation about the name, but when it was time to spell Bellamy, Mason was serious. He told Craig not to put a "Y", but "OKE". Craig told him that if that was his last name then we wouldn't be his mommy and daddy, and yeah he didn't care.
