Preschool Christmas Program...

I am not sure how this is possible, but this was our 5th FBC preschool Christmas program. Hard to believe we have been here that long. It was also different not to be watching Mason, and with him not even here. Reagan and Micah did great!
Amazing job by the 1 year old teachers to keep them seated the entire time!
 This is Reagan praying...
And she does this all the time to make sure everyone else has their eyes closed but still trying to close hers...
Micah praying... I am just glad they were paying attention and knew that they were praying!

Reagan saw her daddy... we are lucky she didn't try to come down!

Here she goes. She was so into it. Jingle Bells and Away in A Manger... I actually have two videos of Reagan singing on my phone. She watches them multiple times a day.
Micah LOVES to sing so when she wasn't singing I knew something was wrong. Then I realized she had been up there a really long time and probably needed to go to the bathroom. I was trying to take a picture of her, and through my zoom lens I saw her say, " I have to go potty!" So I was that mom that had to sneak up on stage and get her so there was no accident. Of coarse after that she was done and didn't want to go back up. She still did great! Next time I need to remember to limit her liquid intake.

After the program, Santa comes to their classrooms and gives them a present. Reagan got some water color crayons and Micah got a Minnie Mouse purse with lots of lip gloss. She carried it around for days. Amazing how Santa knows exactly what they love;-)...

Gingerbread houses...

This is one of my favorite family traditions. This year we did two.... a girls and boys gingerbread house. Reagan was able to join us this year, and as you can tell, loved it! Next year  I need to remember to put a plastic tablecloth on our table. The mess was still worth it!

Mason said he didn't want me to take his picture... doesn't he know me well enough?

The beginning of the non traditionale gingerbread house... a gingerbread base!

Putting the candy on is serious work...

The finished product...
My favorite!
Might be the 1st gingerbread "house" in history to have army men protecting it...

The girls house...

Big hair and a beautiful smile...

Mason thought it was so funny to cover his army men in icing...
Another one of a kind...
Liking the icing... the perfect ending!
