Blanket...

If you have been around Mason, you have seen him with his blanket. When he had ear infections all the time, instead of biting other kids at daycare he started biting his blanket. The habit has not gone away and when he has his blanket it is in his mouth. Needless to say, I have to wash it ALL the time. He usually only has it when he is watching a show or when he goes to sleep, but he can't live without it. A couple of pictures of Mason watching Mickey Mouse with his blanket.

On a side note, there are a couple of things Mason has said lately that I don't want to forget. His new thing is to say, "Thank you mommy!" or "Thank you daddy!" He says it so sincerly, and all on his own. The other day he said, " Thank you mommy for changing my poopy diaper!"

We were playing with his bugs the other day and we were looking for his lady bug. He looked at me and said, " Don't worry mommy we will find the lady buy. Don't worry!"

Yesterday we were playing with his ballons. I was throwing them and he was catching them. He missed one and said, "That's a bad throw mommy. You can try again."

Lastly, today at the park I was standing on the slide trying to get the ants off for him. Once I got them off, he said, "Mommy get off the slide. Your too heavy!" I use to tell him that when I was pregnant and he wanted me to swing. I didn't expect him to tell me that:-)

Laundry..

I can say that one of the things that has been harder to keep up with with two little ones is laundry. No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to ever catch up. I do a great job of getting things washed just not folded. It is bad when you have to use Wrinkle Release on a size 3 month dress.

One Saturday, I finally got caught up, so I thought. I finished the kids clothes during nap time, so I set the basket of folded clothes next to Mason's door so I could put them up when he woke up. I forgot about the basket, and Mason was throwing his ballons off the top of the stairs (which is one of his favorite things to do.) I went to the kitchen for something, and I came back to this! My folded clothes thrown off the top of the stairs piece by piece. I couldn't help but laugh! GiGi is coming this weekend... the only way laundry will get caught up!

Pretty Girl...

I should be going to bed because our sweet girl has been asleep all day which means she will probably be up all night. She has had a cold since Tuesday that she got from Mason. I thought Mason just had allergies as he only had a runny nose, but it was obviously a cold. Yesterday she was up all day, slept through the night, and then has been asleep most of the day today. I have tried to keep her up, but didn't have much luck.

I did keep her awake for a couple of minutes to capture some pictures. You can see Mason heard what I was doing from the other room, and had to make sure he gave her a kiss for the camera. The kiss turned into trying to bite her head before I realized it. I just love her facial expressions in these!

The Wheels on the Bus...

One of Mason's favorite songs is "The Wheels on the Bus." He knows all the words with the motions, and he is so animated when he sings it. This turned out to be the song he sang as part of the pre-school end of the year program. It was his first "performance." Craig and I wondered how he would act up at the front of the church with all the other kids, and he did remarkable. The cutest thing was when the pastor said he was going to pray, and Mason closed his eyes despite the chaos around him and was praying. The pictures of his eyes closed are him praying:-)

He sang his little heart out. His friend Koen was right behind him in the dark blue shirt. These little boys have so much fun together! Look at those smiles!

A typical Sunday...

We finally had a comfortable, and typical Sunday. We made it to church and Sunday School, and it was so great to be back. We have been so blessed by our Sunday School class, as they have brought us meals every Tuesday and Thursday since Micah has been born. I can't tell you how much this has blessed us, and helped in our transition. Some people don't even really know us, and bring us a great meal and shower us with love. A tangible example of God's love!

After church, we ate lunch at home. The kids and I took a nap, and Craig went to his new gun range in Bandera, which he loved! When Mason woke up, he asked where daddy was. I explained he went to the gun range which immediately led into wanting to play "Big Buck". He waited for Craig by the door with the Wii gun wanting to shoot bucks.

These are some pictures of Mason shooting his bucks while our sweet girl tried to get some sleep. I got to take it all in, and enjoy my family!

One Month....

Our precious little angel is a month old today. I think time flies even faster with the second child. Crazy that Micah has been in our lives a month. She continues to steal our heart, and her brothers as well. I thought Mason's adoration for his little sister would wear off with time, but I was wrong. First thing he asks for when he wakes up, is "Where is Micah?" He kisses more than I thought possible!

Micah is still doing great. She continues to eat well, and is sleeping wondeful for mommy! We don't know how much she weighs as she doesn't have to go back to the doctor until 2 months, however, she is obviously changing and filling out.

Here are a couple of pictures I took of Micah this morning in an adorable outfit from a sweet friend in Burleson. I included a couple of Mason at the same age. They still look so similar to me, except for the red hair.

Mason... they look so much alike!

From this picture, it looks like our sweet girl doesn't like big bows or pictures.
