April 12, 2013...

April 12... our sweet girl turned two! What a fun day it was. I have to admit that as much as I love birthdays I wasn't going to go all out with our birthday traditions. With a three week old and significant lack of sleep, I didn't think I had it in me. However, my Mason would not let me get away with celebrating Micah the "right" way. Streamers, balloons, cupcakes, confetti eggs... we had to do it all. And no matter how tired I was, I am glad we did.

 It was 8:30 and she was still asleep. Craig wanted to see her before he went to work so he woke her up. She never sleeps that late any more... I guess she knew it was going to be a busy day.

Micah Reece we sure do love you! You bring us so much joy. Your fun, energetic personality is blessing to everyone you are around. We are so thankful God let us be your mommy and daddy! And your Mason sure does love you as well! Every morning he asks countless times if you are awake and can go get you. We love watching your relationship develop, and excited to see you build that relationship with Reagan as well! We love you pretty girl!

Easter...

A little out of order, but the Easter service at church was our first outing as a family of 5. I don't have the cute picture of all of us dressed for church. We were running late to get there, and then Reagan was starving by the time we got home. So no family picture, but church on Easter is a perfect place for our first outing!

The Easter bunny came during nap time and hid some eggs for Mason and Micah. It wasn't too fun for Mason as he got upset right away because Micah took a blue egg he wanted. Next year, they will each get a color! Also, yes Micah picked out her clothes and insisted on her boots! Enjoy...

5'7"

On Tuesday we went to the doctor for Mason and Micah's 4 and 2 year old well visits. I forgot how much Micah dislikes the doctors office because of everything she went through with her staph infections. Micah cried most of the time, but overall it could have been a lot worse with 3 kids at the doctors office for an hour.

Mason was 41 pounds, and Micah was 28 pounds and 33 1/2 inches. Which means she is predicted to be 5'7 just like her mommy.(Mason was predicted to be 6'0 at 2 years old.)

Mason was in the 90 percentile in height and weight, while Micah was in the 50th percentile in height and weight. Mason got his 3 shots and did so well! We have one brave little boy... he didn't like it, but did so well.  A cake pop from Starbucks made everything feel better.

Do you like their stadium theatre seating? So creative!

 I was cleaning up from dinner and this is what I saw outside. So sweet!
