Cuckoo...

If you want to hear the best laugh in the world, you can watch Mason and Micah play cuckoo (aka...hide and seek). Not sure where Mason came up with it, but it started with him hiding a blanket, Micah pulling it off, Mason saying cuckoo, and Micah laughing hysterically. The game has evolved to more of a game of hide and seek, and sure can put a smile on your face. Love these smiles..and the fact that Micah can play and hold a granola bar in her hand.

Sandbox...

Mason, Micah, and Whitten having fun in the sandbox...actually pouring sand on each others head. Thank goodness for baby powder that makes the sand just fall off.

Micah's expression is priceless in this picture....I am sure we will see this a lot as she grows up with so many boys.

Christmas Helpers...

This is definitely one of my favorite times of year even though it is so busy. Busy with fun stuff! I love decorating our house for Christmas, and this year I had two little helpers. Craig has had to work so much that we had to do it without him, but our precious angels helped me. Micah kept pulling off the ornaments off the tree saying "ball" and throwing it! I am glad she listens well because we would have a lot of broken ornaments.

We are waiting until Craig is off for the holidays to do all of our fun Christmas traditions, but we are enjoying this time of year. We did the Christmas craft day at church, I had our MOPS leadership and women's ministry Christmas parties, took Mason and Micah to a Christmas show at Magik Theatre with McCoy and Dena, and tonight the church had childcare for the kids and such a fun night for them so parents could have a night out. A group of us went to dinner and bowling... did I mention without kids? So thankful for a great time with great friends!

Today was a highlight as we sponsored a girl at a foster home in Boerne for Christmas. What a blessing it was! Craig had to work, but I took the kids and I am so thankful for opportunities to show our kids how fortunate we are, and what a blessing it is to give. We were able to sit and eat lunch with our girl, and then watch her open the presents that we were able to provide for her. The joy in her face as she opened her gifts was so special, and I think Mason saw how happy she was. Mason wanted to help her open gifts and it was such a great teaching moment, ... he was willing to pick up all the wrapping paper trash instead. Tonight he asked me if we get to take her some more presents:-) Oh and Santa made an appearance, Mason made sure when Santa was done talking to the crowd that he went up to him and told him he would like a "Switch and Go Dino" for Christmas.

Little Bit of Everything...

Excited that it is finally December and we get to start our Jessie Tree Advent readings today. A group of friends each made 25 of the same ornament, and then had a big party to swap ornaments so we all ended up with 25 for the 25 days leading up to Christmas. Each day has a scripture and bible story to go with it leading to the birth of Jesus. Can't wait to do this with our family! (Yes Misty I stole your picture:-)
Why not paint my face? I have painted everything else!
 That's my girl...
Micah just loves her shoes. She wanted them on right before bed while watching a Mickey Mouse...
We walked a 5K at USAA...the kids did great!
1st ice cream cone at Chickfla..
 Outside fun...
We all love our breakfast tacos... Micah loves potatoe and egg, while Mason like bacon and egg. There are very few things they both like besides fruit.
Cake pop date...one day after preschool we went to Starbucks and had a cake pop date. Micah thought it was a lollipop. She kept licking it...not a great picture, but a good reminder of our fun time together.
We walked another 5K to complete the 1000 points we needed to get a deduction on our health insurance next year. This was the Boerne Turkey Trot, and it was 40 degrees when we started. Didn't think it would be that cold...maybe should have gotten a babysitter for the kids!
Micah bundled up with her snacks...
Mason after no nap at school. He is my napper, and fell asleep in the car on the way home.
Our table all decorated for Thanksgiving...we had all of Craig's family here. More pics to come...
Mason's friend, Logan, had a birthday party at Kiddie Park. 1st ride...Micah hated it and was done!
Mason was covering her mouth because she was crying so loud
She was much happier just watching!
 Bubbles...

Pajama day...they wanted to go outside and Mason convinced me to let them wear their pajamas. Why not?
Santa at Dickens on Main...Micah not to happy. Just might be the most realistic Santa I have ever seen. Mason asked if his Switch and Go Dino was in one of those present boxes.
