Baby Friends...

Yesterday we got to watch baby Whitten for a couple of hours. I just LOVE this first picture. One day way too soon it will be hard to remember them this small. Love that these three get to grow up together!

How cute is this sweet boy?
Mason was so concerned when Whitten would cry. He was so tired, and not used to a "big" boy in his face all the time. Mason even tried to give him his blanket to get him to stop crying.

No Mickey Mouse...

Mason very much loves his routine. He takes a bath and watches a Mickey Mouse episode before bed. Unfortunately, we are currently in the hitting, kicking, and pushing stage of a 2 1/2 year old. New territory for us all. Last week we were at Chickfla eating right next to the play area. He got out of his chair, ran over to the slide, and just pushed this little girl.  I was in shock. He had never done anything like that. I asked him why he would do that, he said, " She was mean to me in Ms.Robbie's class."  That was the class he was in during our MOPS meeting... 2 days before!! This little boy doesn't forget a thing and obviously is all about revenge.

Mason has learned that his consequence is no Mickey Mouse before bed if he hits, kicks, or pushes his friends. On Tuesday, Mason's teacher said he was a little aggressive and they had problems with all of the above. I explained that I was disappointed and he couldn't watch a Mickey Mouse. Of coarse, our boy asked to watch another cartoon Max and Ruby. I explained that he could not watch anything  on TV. He cried for about 30 minutes. I know it won't be the end of this stage, but hope it helps him learn that he can't do that do his friends. Hoping today was a better day!

I took these the other night while he was watching his Mickey Mouse. He wanted to make sure Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto watched too.

Rolling, rolling, rolling...

So I am finally getting to paint our house which is the reason for no pictures in a while. We moved in a year ago this week, and since I was pregnant I couldn't paint. I forgot how much I love painting! The end result is so worth it. We are working on the downstairs and not done yet, but when I get it all completed I will post some pictures.

Last week I ran upstairs to get the kids clothes for the day, and Micah was on the move. She just rolls over until she gets where she wants to go. My happy girl is so proud of herself.
She started in her little green activity center and ended up by the kitchen.

Mommy are you going to help me here???

Fiesta Texas...

Last Sunday, USAA bought out Fiesta Texas for the IT department because they were ranked #1 place to work in the US. So we had a free day at Fiesta Texas and just had the absolute best time. We went when it opened at 10:00 and lasted until 2:00 which is pretty good for a 2 1/2 year old and 5 month old. We started with the Ferris Wheel. I am not a big fan of rides, so Mason and Daddy had a blast while Mommy and Micah watched. Mason got a little scared when the stopped it up top for him, but loved it after that.

All 4 of us got to ride the train around the park together.

We even got a picture with Bugs Bunny. They provided free lunch for us as well! What a great company to work for!
By far, Masons favorite. I lost count, but I think he rode it 7 times in a row! So thankful there were no lines. Love that smile!

So Mason kept asking to go on a roller coaster. We were going to let him ride the log ride that splashes in the water, but he was too little. So we said he could get wet. This was the 1st time, and oh so fun!

Now big boy wants to do it all by himself.
Yes... Mason is in there.

Not so fun the 2nd time... he got hammered by the water. However, we had a great time! Thank you USAA for such a fun day for our family.

Park...

I forgot how much Mason loves the park. It has been so hot that we haven't been able to go, but it has "cooled off". The other morning a lady at the park said I am so glad fall is here, it feels so nice. The weather went from 108 to 92. One of my friends from Iowa said just think of the extreme heat as your winter. A great way to look at it!

We had some fun family time at our neighborhood park!

Love the static in his hair! Do all slides do that?
