Paint...

One of Mason's favorite things to do is paint, so we decided to let Micah try to paint. It is never to early to teach a baby to paint right?... Well you can imagine how this turned out. Probably should have been monitoring more rather than take pictures, but so glad I didn't! First paint and jello experience is so well documented!



  Don't worry she didn't eat any paint... she was biting the bottom of the bottle.

What happened to my baby?

What happened to my baby? How is she almost a year old. Even though I hate that she is growing up so fast, she is so much fun. Her car is her favorite toy. She gets in, shuts the door, opens the door, shuts the door, turns around, gets out, and does it all again over and over again.  A big brother usually ends up on top of the car saying "Hi pretty girl"

The other day I was going to run errands and Craig said Micah would lay down and watch tv with the him. I said there is  no way she would just lay on the couch.... I was wrong, she just layed with daddy and was as happy as can be. Sweet girl in her comfy clothes...

March 7th...

March 7th is one of my favorite days of the year (in addition to today...the start of March Madness). I think I was just as excited to celebrate Mason's birthday as he was. I woke him up with a candle in a orange cupcake. He said, "An orange cupcake! That's my favorite color!!!" ( as if I didn't know that:-) I let him eat it in bed and told him I had a surprise downstairs. He said he could finish his cupcake in a minute.

We ran downstairs to be greeted by this. The streamers covered the bottom and I told him to run through them and tear them down. Yeah, he wasn't quite sure about that. He tore them down one by one. Here is Mason showing me he is 3!

All Mason wanted for his birthday dinner was chips and queso. Mommy and Daddy had fajitas as well:-) We had a fun family celebration. Daddy had to work late, so Micah was in bed, which is why he was already in his pajamas. He even sang happy birthday to himself:-)

 Mason's favorite part of the day... confetti eggs. I saw them at HEB and picked up a box. Thought it would be a fun birthday tradition to start since both kids have spring birthdays. He couldn't believe this stuff came out of fun colored eggs.

Evidence of one fun family celebration of our sweet boy. We are having a big birthday celebration for both Mason and Micah  next weekend. I need to start planning a party!

I asked Mason if he would take a picture with Micah, and it turned into quite the string of pictures. He wouldn't let her go. He sure does love this little girl!.... On a side note, tonight we were reminded of the sweet heart our Mason has. We told him it was time to read a story and go to bed, and he said, " No it is not time to go to bed." and walked down stairs. I was getting his milk, Craig came downstairs, and he said (with no prompting), " Daddy I am so sorry I got mad at you." I pray that he is always sensitive when he is wrong, and willing to ask for forgiveness.
