Burleson...

I just realized I never blogged about our trip to Burleson, and even though it is out of order, I still want to include it! In the middle of September we went to Burleson for one of my former players wedding. I agree... not sure how I am old enough to have a former player get married:-) I actually started personally training this group of girls as 6th graders and then coached them in middle school. So great to see them, and aren't they beautiful young ladies?
This is a picture I took of them in 7th grade...

Our weekend was packed and unfortunately we didn't get to see everyone. I took some newborn pictures on Friday morning for the Wiedenfelds in Hurst, and then we drove over to Mandy's house. Our time together is never long enough. So great to see her, and I loved seeing the new beautiful house they built.

Our favorite 6,5,4,3,2,1,0 picture...
They had a dirt pile in their driveway as they were building a play set...needless to say the kids loved it!

I just love this picture. Micah climbed in bed with Meredith. I went in to check on them and Micah was watching Dora and Mere was asleep. We had such a great time staying with the Hembrees. Meredith was home for the wedding, and we stayed up late talking every night. Miss her!
Oh Micah and Mason!  I thought they were taking a nap and went on to check on them. When I opened the door, they were gone. They were in the bathroom and Mason was putting makeup on Micah making her look beautiful. The picture doesn't do justice. Mason said he even painted her nails... with mascara! Not to mention, my cream pants were laid out in the bathroom under the area they decided to beautify Micah. Thankful for Tide To Go and Meredith who got all the mascara off Micah while I worked on my pants.
One of my all time favorite people! Sarah and I coached and taught for 5 years together, and I just love her! We had the best night catching up with each other and our old players!
The Pickens were so kind to watch all three kids while we went to the wedding. Mason just LOVES Drew, and says that he is his older brother. I picked up the girls after the wedding but Mason spent the night. They had a blast!
After I picked up Mason, we headed to Arlington to meet the Caltriders for lunch. It was so fun to see them, and spend a little time with them. I am sure lunch with three tired kids might remind them they might want to wait a little bit to have kids:-) however, they love our kids well!
