April 12, 2013...

April 12... our sweet girl turned two! What a fun day it was. I have to admit that as much as I love birthdays I wasn't going to go all out with our birthday traditions. With a three week old and significant lack of sleep, I didn't think I had it in me. However, my Mason would not let me get away with celebrating Micah the "right" way. Streamers, balloons, cupcakes, confetti eggs... we had to do it all. And no matter how tired I was, I am glad we did.

 It was 8:30 and she was still asleep. Craig wanted to see her before he went to work so he woke her up. She never sleeps that late any more... I guess she knew it was going to be a busy day.

Micah Reece we sure do love you! You bring us so much joy. Your fun, energetic personality is blessing to everyone you are around. We are so thankful God let us be your mommy and daddy! And your Mason sure does love you as well! Every morning he asks countless times if you are awake and can go get you. We love watching your relationship develop, and excited to see you build that relationship with Reagan as well! We love you pretty girl!
