The Mrs. Tyner Thank You Project...

In our almost 8 years of parenting, this has to be one of those times we were most proud of our sweet boy! In January, he came up with a thank you project for his teacher Mrs. Tyner. He called it the Mrs. Tyner thank you project. He asked as many people as he could to donate $5 to his teacher Mrs. Tyner who was adopting a baby from Ethiopia. His original goal was $100 and God blew that out of the water as he with the help of his classmates raised $1550!!!

He even made a video to send out to people he wouldn't see. Unfortunately it won't let me upload the orginal but this is the one where we took at his address and posted so people could give directly to the Tyners.

Then one day when Mrs. Tyner was out, we did a video of the kids in Mason's class to present her with money. She had NO idea! We asked her husband to come as well as part of the surprise. This is the video they saw to find out about what they did!

I will never forget when it was over, Mr. Tyner got down on one knee and looked Mason in the eye and said Thank you for making a difference in his family and that God is going to use him for big things! He also said as soon as they bring their baby home they want Mason to come meet him because he helped bring him home!

Mason we couldn't be more proud of you! I can't wait to see how God will use you. Keep making a difference! We are so glad we get a front row seat! Love you!
